It's so dreary and cold and grey and wet that I'm actually contemplating putting the heat on. Only the thought that that would be Giving In stops me. I mean for goodness sake, this is midsummer, it would be ridiculous to put the heat on! No, I will just put on my gloves. Because that is not ridiculous at all.

In a similar vein, it was so hot yesterday we were considering swimming, but that would have been a ridiculous thing to do in the middle of winter.
Mark keeps asking me if I am sure I want to move to a rainy dreary country :) Think I should be having second thoughts?
It's been hot here.
I remember our first summer in the PAC NW, we did turn the heat on a couple of times :P
It doesn't even have to be *that* cold, when it is humid it sinks into the bones and is a miserable chill.

Dee, the grey weather really can get you down, but I think that the nice days are so gorgeous it makes up for it.
