The sun is shining today. It's beautiful.

The sun shone on Sunday as well, when we had some friends over for lunch. It was lovely; finally, a day when we could sit in the garden! Yesterday, though, when I went to Brighton for a girly day out with friends, it poured. All day. We had fun, but it would have been more fun had we not had to squelch our way through the grey rain. Funny thing is, the English people I was out with were much more upset about the bad weather than I was. Apparently this persistent grey horrible cold wetness that we've been enduring for the past three months of "summer" really is out of the ordinary, and they feel even more cheated than I do.

In other news, I think I might finally be starting to feel a bit better. I hope so... I'm so tired of feeling lousy. And also I would ideally like to avoid having to endure more tests... Soph has some kind of virus-y fevery thing now, though. She's on the mend today - reading Harry Potter next to me right now - but she was running a ferocious temperature last night. She's annoyed at having to miss the last day of school; this is the first day she's missed through illness all year long, poor little bug.

Lots to do before the weekend; we plan to go camping for Sophie's birthday (which falls on Sunday.) The idea is that we'll go climbing for one day, and go to Go Ape in the Forest of Dean on the other - just not sure that the weather is going to cooperate with us...

I had to know what "Go Ape" is so I followed the link. The website was not cooperating but I think that I've got the general idea. You are going to go off and do some kind of crazy high wire thing in the trees in some forest. Are you nuts?
You are a better woman than me.
You just blog about it when you are all done and that will be enough of that adventure for me.

I'm so glad you're feeling better, I hope the results are nothing to worry about.

My husband is just past the half way mark with HP7 and he keeps saying things like "you're kidding they die too" what a teas.
