It's still bloody raining.

And it's cold.

Wet, cold and dismally grey.

Payback time for the unseasonally beautiful weather we had in April, I guess.

Not a very exciting weekend, but we did get a lot of schleppy chores done, so at least we have that good "that's out of the way" feeling. And in 12 more days we'll be in Paris!

Timewaster of the day - this game is what all the kids at college keep sneaking onto when they're supposed to be doing their coursework. It is simultaneously boring and addictive.

I got up far too early this morning and I am failing miserably at the helicopter game.
What about a book club? I can't believe that wasn't my first thought for you.
Anyway a writing club sounds groovy.
Sorry it's so wet and rainy but that's why you've got how you get outstanding English gardens.
Last weekend we watched "Man of the Year" and it was a very good movie. Much meatier than I thought it was going to be. One of those...'it could only happen in America senarios'.

It's wet and rainy here too but we are all rejoicing and keep peeping out the window to check it's still raining.

The game is like Glider, which we used to have on an ancient Mac, and which was totally addictive. If only the helicopter could shoot rubber bands at lightbulbs, it'd be the same. Carter and Archie were delighted to make it 37 seconds without blowing up. . . .
