There is a sticker on our box of condoms that says "Warning! This box is fitted with a security tag that is NOT MICROWAVABLE." (Exclamation and capital letters are theirs). I am perplexed by this. Why the need for the sticker? Do people routinely microwave their condoms? And if so, for what reason? Or maybe I don't actually want to know..

Just another one of those things that make you fell as though you are leading an incredibly sheltered life. And by "you" I mean "me"

It's been soooo long since our condom days. I haven't the foggiest idea what the hell a condom would be doing in the microwave!
So...I think I must bring up this perplexing question at the dinner table and really give the girls something to think about. Yet another inappropriate conversation started by me.
I'll let you know what we come with.

you got me. I haven't the foggiest.
Wouldn't microwaving them compromise them somewhat?
Most boring idea of all: legal disclaimer.

LOL, madre-terra. Your comment made me feel so much better about myself. I read this entry to Hope and Asia last night and then thought, "What the hell kind of mother am I???"
