I went with Ems on her paper round early this morning. It was lovely; beautiful sunny morning, and a nice chance for the two of us to chat. Plus, she let me post some of the papers through the front doors. It is harder than you think it's going to be, though. There's all sorts of tricky bits. For instance, some of the mail slots are tiny enough that it's tricky to fold the paper small enough to get it through. Some of them are really stiff. And some of them snap your fingers if you aren't very careful. Still, it was fun, and probably good exercise too. And, reading the headlines of each paper gives you a reasonable overview of the news of the day. Hope I manage to get up early enough to make a habit of keeping her company.
