This week's sunny weather has inspired many of the students at college to haul their shorts out from the back of their wardrobes. Some of the girls are wearing shorts with tights under them (not a good look, in my opinion) and some are wearing shorts with bare legs (also not necessarily a good look when said legs are sort of purplish-blue because, even though it is sunny, it is still chilly). My opinions reveal my age, apparently, because when I expressed these sentiments to my children this evening, they all rolled their eyes at one another, and Stephen said I should try to be less critical. Less critical, as if. Might as well tell Blair to be less spineless or Bush to be less of a moron.

Ha ha ha, that's funny! My Dutch friend, who has two teens and with whom I had lunch today, also told me her kids had called her too critical of others! And here we thought teens were critical of others ;).

My oldest daughter and I are the WORST.
We joke about everyone we see..on TV and real life.

We mean no harm though.
