I am at work way early on this beautiful sunny morning, because Bobby gave me a lift in the car. (He had to go to work in the car today anyway, because his buckled bicycle is still at the bicycle repair shop.) It is quite pleasant being here so early, actually. It's so quiet in here, just me and a couple of early-bird students, who were happy to have the room opened so early, as it's (literally) freezing outside.

Bobs and I saw quite a good movie last night - The Page Turner. It's a French thriller, elegant and subtle. And then we went out for a meal at a local Indian restaurant. So, a good evening.

I have come to feel quite fond of our local cinema. You can buy a glass of wine (or something stronger) at their bar and drink it while you watch the film, and someone comes round at intermission with a tray of ice-cream strung around their neck, just like John Cleese and his albatross, only better-tempered. It's not the Enzian, but it's still nice in its own quirky way.

It's getting busy here now, so I should stop writing and get on with my day...

Of course I had to click on all of your links.
I see that The Illusionsist is playing at the cinema. I loved that movie. I think that you would like it.
And....you live in Reigate. I had no idea. I went to boarding school in Thorpe. It's west of you on the M25 (I just mapquested it). Small world.
Oh, and any cinema that serves wine is so civilized and posh. I need to get my ass back to England!!

I love the sound of your theater! And of the night out, too. :)

Hope you have a lovely day.
