The girls and I met up with a friend in London today. The picture above was taken from the London Eye; an attraction which the girls have been longing to visit since we arrived here.

I enjoyed the day very much. I think it is a tribute to the "realness" of the internet that every time I've actually met the people I correspond with, it's felt like getting together with any other friend who I happen not to have seen in a while.

My only regret about the day stems from my oversleeping this morning. I'd meant to get up early and make a picnic lunch for us, but since I didn't have time we ended up having an overpriced not-very-nice lunch near Westminster. I really get irritated with myself when I spend our hard-earned money on things that I don't enjoy.
