It snowed all day today. I really enjoyed looking out of the windows at work today and seeing all those fluffy flakes drifting down over the fields. Just like being in a snowglobe.
And Bobby enjoyed walking to the bus stop in the snow after work; he got a particular kick out of beating the cars on the half-mile walk between his office and the bus stop.
Cold weather is still a novelty for us; we are probably the only people in the UK who found today's weather fun.
When I arrived to pick up Sophie after school, though, I was a bit shocked to see tiny blue-kneed shorts-clad children having their soccer practice as snow fell all around them. They are nothing if not hardy here. Most unlike our old soccer practices in Florida; there they would cancel as soon as the first drops of rain fell.
