Seems like buying a house generally signals changes for our family.

18 months after we bought our last house - the one we loved, the one our grandchildren were supposed to visit - we moved to the states.

8 months ago we bought this house.

And now we plan to move again.

Bobby has been hating work this past month, so we've been trying to figure out what to do about it. His work visa is tied to one specific company, so his choices are either to stick it out for the next few years till he can get a green card and work for whomever he chooses, or to leave the country.

We're going with option B.

I have renewed my British passport (I have dual citizenship) and we plan to move to the UK this summer.

Thinking of all the steps that entails makes my head hurt.
