Emily's school held an election today. They've been working up to it for a while : designing posters, researching the candidates' positions on various issues ... The counting went a lot more quickly (and a lot less litigiously) than it's likely to go in the real election, so they had their results by the time school was out. I found it very heartening that the kids elected Kerry by a large majority.
