looks like a typical day here! still can't fathom school being cancelled by such a small amount of snow!! LOL!

I know it makes the rest of the world laugh... it is embarrassing! But, because snow is rare here, we don't have resources to grit the roads etc,and nobody has snow tires, so the roads - esp. the small country roads - quickly become undriveable, the buses and trains stop runnning etc etc - so people really can't get to work... Our road is too icy to drive along, for instance...
