The first of the first

Stephen texting his sister at lunch. She was at the same table...

We went out to lunch to celebrate Steve's birthday today, then to the shops to buy him some new running shoes. I am sort of envious of him; his hall is so close to the Thames that he can run alongside it past all those fabulous London views...

So, as usual, we started this year with a celebration. I think 2010 has the potential to be a good year. We just need to make it so.

My resolutions:
Run at least 5km 3 times a week.
Be kind.

So far so good... Went for a beautiful early morning run in the frost, and have been kind - or at least, not unkind.

So - here we go!
