Plane talking

It was Bobby's birthday on Sunday, and he got (of course) another model plane. It is weird how this latest obsession seemed to come out of nowhere - and how it's not going away. However, baffling as I find his hobby, he was awfully cute when he was setting all the bits out on the table in the conservatory. He looked like an excited little boy; it was most endearing. And we had a lovely day... Sometimes I worry when I am too happy. I feel that it's like that moment in The Unbearable Lightness of Being just before the crash. It's fortunate, therefore, that I teach my most challenging group on Mondays; they are guaranteed to insert a bit of gritty realism into my day.

I don't get the plane thing either...my husband went through it a while back (still does it but less obsessed!LOL). My brother in law is into helicopters and yet another into weird remote control things (has one that looks like a GIANT critter and scared the life out of me once...came at me real quick) so yeah...they are all boys at heart I think.

I must have skipped a few posts but what grade (or is it adults) are you teaching? Do you like it? Did you have to go back for more schooling?

I know what you mean about feeling life is just to good to be true and wondering when the luck (or whatever) is going to run out. I remember feeling that very distinctly about 18 months ago. It can be an unsettling thing.
