I loved walking along Lowestoft beach with the family yesterday. I wish we lived right on a beach somewhere; the ocean always makes me happy. Spending the day with my folks gave us all a much-needed break - though getting up this morning was grim, since we left home at 6.30am yesterday morning, and only got home at around 11 that evening. So work as particularly exhausting today, specially as someone in the department was ill so I had to cover some of her classes in my free periods. Annoying, as I rely on my light Monday timetable to give me time to organise everything for rest of the week. But ... four more days to half-term, so there's light at the end of the tunnel! The other piece of good news is that my cyclescheme voucher finally came through, so I was able to collect my beautiful new bicycle this evening after work. Can't wait to start using it!
