Bobby's obsession with radio-controlled planes continues to grow. It started with his buying a ready-made one. Then he built one from a kit. Then he built one from scratch. Our house is strewn with magazines about radio-controlled aeroplanes, and he spends hours researching things like how much wind his planes can withstand per cubic cm. He watches the weather forecast like a hawk; a weekend where the weather doesn't allow him to fly is, as far as he is concerned, a wasted weekend. Even worse is a weekend where the weather is good for flying, but some external force (coughAnnalisecough) prevents him from flying. On such occasions a dark cloud of despair descends upon him, and there is wailing, and gnashing of teeth. Currently, radio-controlled planes are endlessly fascinating for him. And radio-controlled planes are mindnumbingly boring for me.
Which is why I smile every time this Toyota Yaris ad airs, and he winces. Watch it, it's hilarious.

This is sick, much like bashing over a sand castle built with loving care on the beach.
Karma - it all comes back to you in the end.
