Thank you for all the commiseration. And the hugs. And - big sigh of relief - I'm not pregnant.
The NHS needs to hurry up with that damn vasectomy referral; I can't deal with any more of these scares.
I'm also over the could-strangle-them-all irritation I'd been feeling towards the rest of the household. They're all still doing annoying things, but I don't mind anymore. Tonight I'm researching PMS help; I know I keep saying it and then not doing anything about it, but I definitely need some sort of supplement or something to avoid the mood swings each month.
Also on the topic of keeping family life running smoothly, I'm looking forward to seeing how our latest attempt to tackle chore division pans out. Someone told me about this cool website, and we set it up for our family last night. You enter a list of chores (each given a difficulty rating) and it allocates chores to each family member. You can give certain family members a higher (or lower) proportion of chores, and you can set it up so they have certain days off. So far, the kids are all quite enthusiastic about the idea; we'll see how it translates into practice!
