Slightly blurred, but happy ... We celebated Emily's fifteenth birthday yesterday. We took the train down to Brighton, saw Enchanted (which we all despised, except for Bobby's mum who absolutely loved it) and then let Ems hit the sales. She had a good time choosing some new clothes, and she looks lovely in them. And then we went to the local Indian restaurant for dinner (delicious) before coming home to watch Philip Pullman's Shadow in the North on TV. I fell asleep on the sofa cuddled up with Emily; a nice reminder of that very first night I spent cuddled up with her fifteen years ago.
