Day out in Brighton yesterday, with people from work.
We took an early train down and walked along the pier, rode the dodgem cars, slid down the helter-skelter, and tried to win tacky stuffed toys. Then we ate lunch (and drank wine) at Wagamama (first time I'd eaten there, yum), and walked around some of the shops (Brighton has lots of interesting little shops) before repairing to a pub. Two pubs, actually, now that I think about it. And we were home again by nine-ish.
It was a really fun day. I'm so glad I work where I do.
Oh, and when I got home, the family had saved me a plate of supper - Stephen had cooked a whole roast dinner for everyone! I don't think I knew how to do that at his age.

Just when you think you might sell them on ebay they go and do something to redeem themselves ;-)
