1. I paid almost 20 pounds in library fines yesterday.
2. I still feel a bit ill about it.
3. However I can't survive without a library card, so it had to be done.
4. We went for a bike ride today.
5. And we visited the local garden centre.
6. Next month - as soon as it gets a bit warmer - we are going to plant a veggie garden.
7. Back to work tomorrow.
8. I didn't get quite as much done this half-term as I had planned.
9. I did get to have lunch with friends from my old work, though.
10. I like my new work a million times better than my old work.
11. I am about to watch Lewis - an Inspector Morse spin-off.
12. I love the gas fire in our living room. It's so pretty, yet so mess-free.

I can't tell you how happy I was when our library decided to do away with fines.
