All clear on the mammogram front.

I started phoning yesterday, because, while I'd been managing not to worry up till that point, I had reached the end of my tether and needed to hear those results.

It was quite a process. The consultant was on holiday, apparently, and his secretary was unreachable because she was never at her desk, and her phone went straight to a recorded message directing the caller to various other departments, none of which was remotely applicable to me - with no option to leave her a message! Eventually I got hold of the secretary of one of the other consultants, who said that she would try to track the results down for me.

When she called back she said that she wasn't actually supposed to give results over the phone, and that I should really wait for the letter from the doctor (no idea when that will be arriving) but that as far as she could see the results were perfectly normal, no need to worry.

So - what a weight off my mind! I think I will have to buy a couple of really pretty bras this week to celebrate my healthy breasts.

And while I'm talking about women's health - my period, that arrived unexpectedly and in force on Monday, has completely vanished again. Anyone else experienced such a thing?

Implantation bleeding? :)
Maybe you don't want to hear that..:)

You said it came at least a week before your 'actual' period was due...and it was gone fast...so maybe...:)

Congratulations on your healthy breasts :)

I am the queen of not keeping track of my mentrual cycle. I know....not such a great idea but it's one of the ways that I deal with being an incest survivor. Just one of my many wonderful quirks.
Good news in the titty world!! Buy yourself some luscious new under garments!!!
