I have just booked train tickets to Norwich for myself and the girls - we're going to spend next Wednesday to Friday with my folks. I was pleasantly surprised to see that, since we bought a family railcard last year, the price of the tickets for the three of us is less than the cost of the diesel that it would take to get us there. (One can take this either as a good reflection on the cost of public transport here, or a bad one on the cost of fuel!) I love travelling by train; so much more relaxing than driving.

Steve won't be coming, neither will Bobby (both working) so it'll be a girly couple of days. Should be fun.

If only I could shake this virus or whatever it is - I still feel like crap. It's not going to be much of a camping weekend if I'm still this tired and weak and headachey on Saturday ... right now the thought of sleeping on the hard ground seems infinitely unappealing, and as for the idea of dragging myself up some crag - ugh, not an option.
