The weather these past two days has been absolutely glorious. Blue sky, sunshine, and warm enough to wear sandals and sleeveless tops. Or, in the case of the construction workers who're doing work at the school, warm enough to strip off your shirt entirely and reveal vast expanses of pink wobbly flesh. Ah, English manhood.

In other slightly disturbing news, we got the official inventory list from the sellers, and they've listed all sorts of things as "not included" in the sale - things that we had assumed were staying. Like, for instance, the fitted cupboards in the master bedroom. And, in the garden section, apparently they'll be taking the "trees and shrubs". But they are leaving us their shower curtain. Ick. This is a very strange country that we are living in.
