Three houses today.

House number one : charming on the outside, a bit frightening on the inside. Had been rented out for ages (to students, I gather), and shows it. The carpets ... Well, I've never actually seen mouldy carpets before. Has potential - it's well-proportioned, and there's lots of space, (well, by UK standards), but we think we wouldn't recoup the cost of fixing it up as it's on a busy road, and so will always be noisy.
House number two : Too small and too expensive. And no parking.
House number three : Very odd; a 16th century cottage with 1970's decor. Think maroon bathtub and pink fluffy carpets. Disorienting, and too small. Awfully pretty from the outside, though.

How many houses can a person look at befor she goes stark staring mad?
