My parents have been staying with us the past couple of days to help me house-hunt.

We've seen a lot of houses. None of which I like well enough to even contemplate putting in an offer. I am getting sick of seeing houses whose third bedrooom is really just a cupboard. Like, 6' by 7'. Seriously. And houses whose "eat-in" kitchens consist of a microscopic table and two tiny, flimsy chairs that even a pair of anorexic elves couldn't sit at. Sadly, I think that my belief that I'd find a house over these school holidays was a trifle over-optimistic.

My parents leave this afternoon, and I am definitely not looking at any more houses tomorrow. I need a break.

Bobby's taking leave next week, though, so on Monday we're going camping in Cornwall, near Tintagel, for a while. Up to a week if the weather is nice to us; less time if we are freezing cold and wet, as seems quite likely. I'm looking forward to it a lot. There's some climbing down there, as well as tons of really beautiful walks. And who (other than, possibly, my teenage son) could resist visiting King Arthur's castle?
