The long-range weather forecast says it's going to rain every single day for the next ten days. Except for next Wednesday, when the prediction says "Mostly Cloudy". My only consolation is that the long-range weather forecasts here tend to be pretty inaccurate.

I have been trying to talk myself into finding grey weather calming and tranquil instead of dreary; that (and my fish-oil) has enabled me to cope with this winter without getting depressed. Of course, this is our first winter here, so there has been a certain novelty value to to the greyness, which has made it easier to deal with. And this winter has apparently been unusually dry anyway. Next winter will probably be a bit tougher.
