Oh, and while I'm talking about how grim today has been... I had my hair cut this morning, and, while it's a good cut, I could not believe the cost. I won't even write it down, that would make it too real. So I feel sort of guilty and yucky about that - I really should have checked their prices beforehand, but I just had no idea that a simple trim and blow-dry could cost so much.

And to add insult to injury Bobby didn't even notice I'd had my hair cut.

I hope tomorrow is a better day. The kids and I are driving to Beccles to see my folks. It's quite a drive - 3.5 hours, according to mapquest. But worth it. That's one plus about living here ... when I feel blue I can visit them for some TLC.
