Going to our UU discussion group helped tonight.

It was good to be with friends. Good to know that other people are feeling just as sad, angry and scared about the future as we are.

We went and had a token cup of coffee afterwards, since Wednesday is supposed to be our date night. We were both too glum to enjoy it, though. Interestingly, pretty much everyone we saw in the cafe at Barnes and Noble looked like we felt. I eavesdropped shamelessly, and all the conversations were along the same lines : people just couldn't believe the election results, and they were devastated by them.
