Well, we put in an offer on a house today.

We'll hear tomorrow if we've got it.

I think the seller will probably accept our offer - he'd already told our realtor that he'd settle for the amount we are offering. But we did stipulate a few conditions that he may not be entirely happy with. So we'll see what happens.

I won't be devastated if this falls through ... it's a very nice house, and a very sensible choice in terms of being an easy resale in a couple of years if necessary, but there's another (slightly less sensible) home that we have our eye on which I think we'll offer on if this bid doesn't work out.
