I forgot to say that it looks like we have the house.

The sellers have accepted our offer, and stopped quibbling about paying the title fees (apparently this is the seller's responsibility here in Florida, but the buyer's in North Carolina or wherever they originally come from).

So, unless the home inspection turns up anything dodgy, or unless the house appraises for less than we're buying it for (in which case we'd back out of the sale), we'll be moving in one month's time! Our closing date is actually set for July 29, which is Sophie's 7th birthday.
